After receiving her soloist diploma from the Toho Gakuen School of Music and her artist’s diploma from the Tokyo College of Music, Minami Yoshida continued her studies at the New England Conservatory with Miriam Fried, under whose tutelage she received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees.

Born in Tenri City in 1998, Minami is currently studying professionally at the Kronberg Academy with Mihaela Martin. Minami has won first prizes and awards at various violin competitions in Europe, the USA, Canada and Japan. Her probationary period in the 1st violin section of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra will begin in August this year.
