Mr. Qingzhu Wengs b. 2001, Zhejiang, China.

Born in 2001 in Zhejiang, China, Qingzhu Weng attended the Music Elementary School affiliated to the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. He continued his studies at the Hannover University of Music, Drama and Media, first in the Musically Talented Youth Programme, followed by Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the same school, all under the tutelage of Krzysztof Wegrzyn. 

Qingzhu is currently studying at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin’s  postgraduate Konzertexamen programme with Antje Weithaas. He also has a residency at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel with Augustin Dumay. Qingzhu has won several first prizes and other awards in violin competitions in Europe and China.
