After receiving her Bachelor’s degree from the Curtis Institute of Music, Karisa Chiu continued her studies and graduated with a Master’s degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music in 2024. She is currently studying at the Juilliard School in New York with Catherine Cho and Donald Weilerstein.

Karisa has won several violin and chamber music competitions in the USA and abroad, and has performed as a soloist with several orchestras. Karisa was born in 1999 in Park Ridge, USA.
