Jinjoo Cho, an award-winning South Korean violinist and Artistic Director of the ENCORE Chamber Music Institute, is an Associate Professor of Violin at McGill University’s Schulich School of Music.
South Korean violinist Jinjoo Cho is a winner of the Concours Musical International de Montréal, Indianapolis, Buenos Aires, Schoenfeld and Stulberg violin competitions.
She made her solo debut at the age of 11 with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra. Today she performs as a soloist with prestigious orchestras and in renowned concert halls around the world.
Cho is a founding member and Artistic Director of the ENCORE Chamber Music Institute in Cleveland. She is an Associate Professor of Violin Performance at the Schulich School of Music at McGill University in Montreal. Cho has also taught at the Cleveland Institute of Music and the Oberlin Conservatory in Ohio.
She has served as a jury member at prominent international competitions such as the Indianapolis and Schoenfeld Competitions, and a screening committee member of the Montréal and Premio Paganini competitions.
