Born in Tokyo in 2000, Ria Honda completed her Bachelor’s degree at Columbia University in 2022 and went on to study at the Juilliard School in New York with Li Lin. After graduating with a Master’s degree in 2023, Ria went on to study at the Yale School of Music, where she is currently in the Master’s programme with Soovin Kim. 

Ria holds the position of concertmaster in the Symphony  in C Orchestra and Juilliard’s Orchestra, and has performed as a recitalist and chamber musician.
