Born in Tokyo in 1997, Aoi Saito is currently studying at the Berlin University of the Arts in the Soloist Master’s Programme with Latica Honda-Rosenberg. Prior to her current studies, she completed a Bachelor’s degree at the Tokyo University of the Arts under the guidance of Asako Urushihara, Natsumi Tamai and Masafumi Hori, and a Master’s degree in orchestral music at her current school. 

Aoi has excelled in violin competitions in Japan, New Zealand and Europe. She has gained professional experience as an orchestral violinist in Japan and Germany. She is a member of Joe Hisaishi’s“Future Orchestra Classics” and guest concertmaster of the Deutsche Sinfonietta Berlin.
