Where can I buy tickets?

Tickets are sold on the Musiikkitalo website, at the Musiikkitalo ticket sales desk, and through the Musiikkitalo ticket sales phone service.

The ticket office is located in the main lobby of the Music Centre, opposite the coat check. It is open one hour before each concert and during regular hours on weekdays from 1 PM to 6 PM.

Ticket Prices

• Ticket prices include the service fee and supervised coat check (cloakroom fee).
  
• Discounted tickets are available for students, pensioners, children (12 and under), conscripts/civil service members, and unemployed individuals.
  
• Wheelchair assistants are admitted free of charge.
  
• Series tickets are also available for all rounds — more information below.

Series Tickets

The Sibelius Violin Competition series ticket offers a convenient way to follow each phase of the competition and the progress of its participants. With a series ticket, you get all concerts in a given round at 20% off the regular ticket price.

There are six preliminary concerts (18–21 May), six semi-final concerts (23–25 May), and three final concerts (27–29 May 2025).

The 20% discount is automatically applied when you add all concerts of the same round to your shopping cart.

Complimentary Tickets for String and Piano Students to the First and Second Rounds

Students in the Strings and Piano departments at the Sibelius Academy can attend the first and second rounds free of charge. Please claim your free ticket for the first round by 18 May 2025, and for the second round by 22 May 2025.
Note that seats are limited, and free tickets are available only while supplies last.
